Shloka ने जोश Talks Bihar के इस वीडियो में बताया कि,स्कूल के दिनों से उन्हें हिन्दी साहित्य में गहरी रूचि थी. Shloka के पिता भी साहित्य और कला से जुड़े रहे. उन्हीं का असर Shloka पर भी पड़ा. Bihar के एक छोटे से गांव से निकलकर Mumbai जाकर MTV Hustle नाम के TV Show तक का सफर इतना आसान नहीं रहा. इस दौरान Shloka ने Rap में अपना Career बनाने के लिए घरवालों को मनाया, लेकिन जब वो नहीं माने तब Shloka घर छोड़कर Patna चले गए. यहीं, कुछ और Rapper दोस्तों के साथ मिलकर “5 Tricks” नाम का ग्रुप बनाया और Rap करने लगे. इस दौरान जब भी पैसे की कमी हुई, Shloka ने ट्यूशन पढ़ाया, लेकिन Rap करना नहीं छोड़ा. कई बार Show के दौरान गाली देकर मंच से नीचे भी उतार दिया गया,लेकिन, Shloka ने अपनी लड़ाई जारी रखा. Bihar के इस प्रतिभावान Rapper की मेहनत तब रंग लायी,जब देश के एक Famous टीवी शो MTV Hustle में Shloka का चयन हुआ. एक समय ऐसा भी था जब Shloka के घर में कोई TV नहीं था,तब अपने बुआ के घर जाकर TV देखा करते थे. सालों की मेहनत के बाद एक समय ऐसा भी आया जब Shloka न सिर्फ MTV Hustle शो से साथ TV पर आये बल्कि MTV Hustle के Top 5 Finalist भी रहे. जोश Talks Bihar के मंच से श्लोका अपनी पूरी Life Journey बता रहे हैं. Shloka is a Bihar-born rapper. He was born into a middle-class family in Bihar’s Darbhanga district. Since his school days, he had been inclined towards literature and art. In his younger days, Shloka’s father was involved in Maithili literature. Shloka believes his father instilled in him a love of Hindi literature. Pursuing a full-time career in the musical form of rap was not an easy task. He tried to convince his family but failed. Shloka was adamant. He kept hustling to become a rapper. In those times, rap was not as popular as other types of music in Bihar. He went to Patna and formed a group called "5 Tricks'' with a few other folks. During musical shows, people used to treat them badly. In this Josh Talks Bihar video, he recalls once how he was abused and asked to get off the stage. During financial hardships, Shloka gave tuition to kids to fulfill his daily requirements. Shloka never lost hope in his lowest phase of life. All of the struggle and hardships turned into good news when Shloka got a call from MTV Hustle. He became a part of India’s renowned Rap Show. Shloka influenced judges like Raftaar,Nuclea, and Raja Kumari. Shloka received a lot of love and appreciation from audiences all over the country. Shloka became Bihar's first rapper to be in the Top 5 of the MTV Hustle 2019.
