While this is certainly one of her biggest roles, Zegler has received critical acclaim for portraying Maria in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story (for which she won a Golden Globe for). She has also gained notoriety after she was cast as Anthea in Shazam! Fury of the Gods (a powerful Titan and the love interest of Freddy Freeman) and as dystopian hero, Lucy Gray Baird, in The Hunger Games: A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Another extremely important character in Snow White is the Evil Queen. The stepmother of Snow White and the main antagonist of the movie, the Evil Queen drives much of the narrative's conflict as her jealousy over Snow and ambition for power sees her try to kill the Disney princess. She is played by Gal Gadot, whose portrayal of the wicked queen marks the first time she will play a villain. Since making her acting debut in 1999, Gadot has become a global star, most notorious for playing Wonder Woman in the DCU franchise, Gisele in the Fast & Furious franchise, and rich Linnet Ridgeway in Death on the Nile.
