Excited Popatlal confronts Bhide as the visitors leave his home and requests that he suggest his name for Vidya. Bhide informs him that since their uncle solely wants a teacher for Vidya, his decision is peculiar. Popatlal, who was ecstatic about the wedding, requests that he give him Vidya's contact information because he wants to speak with her and discuss her concerns.
