Natalie is a 20-year-old girl who has never used a tampon. When she gets her period before a family trip to the beach, she decides it’s time to finally make it happen. She enlists help from her mom and younger sister, but to her dismay has no luck. Determined, Natalie attempts to tackle the task on her own, resorting to YouTube videos and indecipherable instructions… but she struggles with discomfort, fear, and a general lack of knowledge about her body, leaving her exasperated. Many women and girls experience feelings of taboo or shame surrounding their period. Until we can talk openly about menstruation and women’s bodies, this stigma and discomfort will continue." - Rylee Rosenquist, Director The making of this film would not have been possible without the incredible support from family, friends, and sponsors who generously helped us raise our production budget. We cannot thank you enough for being such a huge part of allowing us to tell this story. Please enjoy, and don't forget to go out there and rock it, girl!
