Layover marks V’s first official solo album, and ADOR’s president and executive producer Hee Jin Min oversaw the entire production process for this album. On THE FIRST TAKE, V staged the piano version of the album's focus track “Slow Dancing.” “Slow Dancing” is a pop R&B song based on the 1970s romantic soul sound, and the piano version offers a different character from the original.
