after 7 months and 42k attempts, i did it. Jesus christ i literally cannot explain how painful this level is, this shit just feels impossible no matter how consistent you are, it doesnt make sense how such a luck based level was ever released, but here we are. I started this level just 2 months after beating Kenos, and over 7 months later i finally pulled through and beat it, I can't even count the amount of times i came back to this dumbass level, and never stuck through it for over a week. Anyway, we all know my story with this level, I got 60 in a week back in like April or something, but quickly got bored and dropped it. Then like in june or something I came back to the level and within 5 days of playing it again I managed to get 23-100 and fluked from 60% to 80%. That’s when it all started to go downhill, I had the worst death of my life, I could barely even touch the level without just feeling like shit because I threw a chance to get one of the most legendary flukes of all time. So it all got too much, and I dropped it again. I think I came back to the level 1 or 2 times and the best I could manage was 23-100 again and just 40% from 0. I literally could not push through with beating it, I had about 4 list% deaths and I just thought I would never get a chance at beating it again, I felt close but every time I really thought about it I was just too far away. But 3 weeks ago, after beating cold sweat, i decided that i would finally finish it off, i didnt care how long it took, or how unlucky i got, i would beat it. But after getting quick progress being 77% and 23-80 and 23-81, i got demotivated, i could barely get to the second wave and with my incosistency i thought i had no chance of beating it. So i started playing cognition, and after playing that, i got demotivated as shit, i didnt want to play the game or even anything, i felt like i got worse especially because my mouse broke and it couldnt go to 8k hz anymore. But that leads to yesterday, i started playing it, and despite not making any progress in runs, i managed to get 8 list% attempts in 2 hours, including a 74% death, a 70% death, and a 67%, death. The next day, I started another session, but something was different. I was insanely consistent at the second half, i was passing it almost every attempt in runs, and after just 25 minutes of playing, i got 15-100. I couldnt believe it, i had followed the same curse that I had done on both sonic wave and sonic wave rebirth, I was so surprised I couldn’t even react.
