Hi guys, welcome to my channel. In this video today we’re going to talk about a channel that is very dear to my heart. This episode is dedicated to kand Hayat. The authenticity on this channel is very rare to find, I mean, the channel doesn't seem to have an alarm clock but rather a rooster waking you up with pearls on leaves, the morning dew which keeps me grounded while I write in a skyscraper. This could be the opening scene of this YouTube channel where a loving family with Aziz, her husband, and sometimes the entire family comes together to make a hearty meal. This channel resembles Azerbaijan in its all glory located in the lush and fertile valleys of the Caucasus Mountains with Turkic and Azerbaijani fare which includes lamb stews, cabbage dolma, kebabs, and many other dishes like baklava. But it isn’t just a cooking channel; they feature a glimpse into the Azerbaijani farm life and how the life of a farmer looks like where they harvest vegetables, build greenhouses, stack firewood and they pick herbs. Their vlogs are mainly silent and that adds a lot to the video with silent features it helps us focus on more of what they’re doing and the channel certainly speaks for itself. The only sounds you can hear are the chopping of wood, metal spoons chiming with cooking pots, and the refreshing sound of nature. They have taken outdoor cooking to a new level with an open flame. The main motive of the channel is to introduce Azerbaijani life to a much wider audience. Aziza’s son, Amiraslan, is a former professional chef. Amir was working in a restaurant in the capital city of Baku which sadly closed down during the pandemic and so Amir came back to his village and started making videos for YouTube. Even though the entire setting takes place in a rural area the filming is very professional. They posted their first video about three years ago, back in 2019, and today they have more than four million subscribers under their name and they have more than 250 videos uploaded to date. They aim to show the colorful side of nature and the vibrant life of living in a small village. Rural living is actually a huge phenomenon on YouTube. The vlogs are very peaceful and they have no context and no narration. This is surprisingly a great way to film as it takes all the unnecessary things out and the focus is simple on rural farming life. The channel tells me about the importance of being silent and seeing the world outside of my window and enjoying being one with nature. Country Life Vlog or kand Hayat is one of the best vlogs if you like videos in the rural living niche. It is like an ASMR vlog with cooking in the mix and a glimpse of a rural lifestyle and that is the best combo I have ever seen. Open fire cooking is the cornerstone of the family’s heritage and it turns out that the family’s ancestors were nomads and they are more rooted in their culture. Like the saj they use is a pan almost like a wok but a lot more flat where almost anything can be made from meat to bread. All of the dishes they make are made freshly grown on their farm They even build their oven and all the hard work is done with a hearty smile and I doubt if there is any other channel that is this wholesome. With more than a billion views they get about a million views everyday and statistics say that they can make about five thousand dollars per day which could easily climb to about 35 thousand dollars a week making their monthly earning 153 thousand dollars.
