The contest was called Number Fever, and the idea was simple: Every evening the news would reveal a winning number, and if you had a Pepsi bottle cap with that number, you won a million pesos. Pepsi had a system in place to ensure that there were only TWO winners each evening. But May 25th 1992, something went wrong... Hundreds of thousands of Filipinos "won" that evening. Pepsi was now expected to pay ten of BILLIONS of dollars in prize money - a debt they claim was impossible to pay. ****** The material used in this video is meant to be used for educational purposes and fall within the guidelines of fair use.
